History

Reinbold Engineering Group is an established mechanical engineering consulting firm with deep roots in the design and construction industry. From our initial contract in 1998 to today, we continue to evolve and develop our services for our clients. Our experience starts with qualified trades people and continues with experienced designers and engineers. Our principals are experienced technicians who take an active part in every project.

Reinbold Engineering Group was formed in Calgary, Alberta in 1998. We provide quality, cost effective building system designs and system analysis for more than 200 new construction and renovation projects annually. Presently we are completing projects in Calgary, Canmore, Banff, Edmonton, Jasper, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops, Shuswap Lake, Vancouver, Regina, Winnipeg, Toronto, and San Diego, California.

Our firm’s extensive mechanical engineering and design experience includes heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC), plumbing and drainage systems, site services, fire protection and sprinkler systems. In the past five years, we have expanded our design capability to include eco-friendly, sustainable design. Some of our sustainable design initiatives include solar and waste heat recovery, district energy loops, geothermal, lake water heating and cooling systems, and solar heating systems. Because we are committed to a high standard of quality sustainable design, we employ highly qualified and experienced certified geoexchange designers, including LEED™ accredited professionals and an engineer with a master’s degree in solar thermal engineering.
