Carmel Cove Resort

This 21 unit residential strata subdivision is located on Shuswap Lake in interior British Columbia. The resort features a clubhouse with spa facilities, restaurant and amenities, and a heated outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool. The mechanical system utilizes lake water thermal heating and cooling, which is located in the central clubhouse. The tempered water is distributed by a district piping system installed in the roadways between the buildings to serve the individual heat pumps in each building. The lake water system consists of an 8” diameter gravity intake line and a 6” diameter discharge line. A portion of the intake water for this system is used for the domestic water distribution to each unit.
