Centuria Urban Village is a 151 unit high rise residential development located in downtown Kelowna, B.C. The building is complete with an underground parkade and 50,000 square feet of commercial retail space on the main floor. The complex is well equipped with amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness facility and outdoor pool and hot tub. The building is primarily heated and cooled by horizontal heat pumps located in each of the residential and commercial units. The central plant consists of two boilers and a closed circuit cooling tower complete with a variable frequency drive. Homeowners are able to control their own natural gas consumption as each residential suite is fitted with an individual gas meter.

This 16 storey development received the 2009 Canadian Home Builder’s Association - Silver Tommie award for “Excellence in Creating a HI-Rise Multi-family Development;” and the prestigious Gold Tommie award for “Residential Development of the Year”.
