Discovery Bay Pointe is a 21 storey residential tower situated on Okanagan Lake in Kelowna, B.C. The tower features 120 suites and is surrounded by 13 townhomes that face Okanagan Lake. The mechanical systems include a geothermal heating and cooling system complete with energy recovery units and back-up boilers. A total of 126 boreholes serve heat pumps in the suites and provide heating for the two pools, hot tub, and domestic hot water. The system has also been designed to recover and utilize the waste heat in the summer for the heating of the outdoor pool and hot tub.
