Junior to Intermediate Mechanical Revit Drafter - Toronto Office

Reinbold Engineering Group is a national mechanical engineering firm with offices located in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton and Kelowna. Our company specializes in the design of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems in commercial, healthcare, institutional, residential and mixed-use high-rise projects. Currently, we are seeking two (2) Junior to Intermediate Level Mechanical Revit Drafters for our Toronto office as we are expanding and growing. Job Description - Mechanical Revit Drafter Responsibilities:
  • Prepare drawings and schematics using Revit from mark-ups prepared by the team leader
  • Design pipe and ductwork layouts in co-ordination with the architectural, electrical and structural components
  • Follow office standards to size piping and ductwork
  • Prepare schematic drawings
  • Capable of modifying Revit families
  • Work directly with suppliers to obtain equipment selections
  • Adhere to given project timelines
  • Coordinate drawings with other disciplines
  • Perform site surveys as required to produce as-built or record drawings
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have:
  • Technologist degree or certificate (or similar) specializing in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology
  • Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal skills and an effective communicator
  • At least 2+ years of experience in the HVAC industry
  • Experience using REVIT MEP 2015 (or newer) is a prerequisite (Interview has a Revit test component)
  • Able to think three-dimensionally
  • Demonstrate a strong desire for advancement and professional development
  • Able to easily commute Downtown
