American Dream Meadowlands is a state of the art entertainment complex combining a six-acre indoor water park, NHL sized ice skating rink, and a 5.7 acre indoor amusement park along with over 500 retail stores covering approximately 4.8 million ft². The facility utilizes a central plant including a 72,000 MBH condensing boiler plant,  3,500 ton heat pump loop and custom roof top air handling units with heat recovery and evaporative condensers capable of moving 2,250,000 cfm of air. Waste heat from the heat pump loop is used to preheat domestic water for the water park showers.

Our Building Simulation team prepared ASHRAE 90.1 compliance energy models to help with concept stage design decisions and provide guidance regarding value engineering and changes during construction.
