The project includes the design and construction of a new 6 -storey seniors continuing care facility in Calgary, AB (Shawnee Park). The 268,000 ft² project will provide 270 B3 assisted living units as well as a one level of below grade parking. The building consists of 11 care “neighborhoods” with dedicated common area spaces for dining and entertainment as well as outdoor amenity spaces. The building has a unique HVAC design that reduces duct sizes and provides self-contained HVAC systems for each resident living unit. The building was designed to CSA Z317 for certification by Alberta Health.
