The recently completed new Arden Hotel is a full conversion and expansion of a 1972-built, 6-storey medical office building at 1144 Burrard St.

This project is turning about 27,000 ft² of former office space into 68 hotel guest rooms, a fitness gym, and meeting rooms.

The existing parking level P1 was converted to restaurant with a commercial kitchen and back of the house hotel spaces, and the existing parking level P2 to remain with the addition of a back of house for the hotel.

Mechanical systems included base building kitchen mechanical design to NFPA 96 standards. The hotel suites are served by a VRF system complete with ERVs in the hotel suites.

Plumbing systems were thoughtfully designed to seamlessly fit with the existing services serving the property.
