Big Horn Health Centre

Construction of a new 1,005m² Health Centre and a 464m² Head Start Centre on the Big Horn Reserve for the Stoney Nakoda Nation in Alberta. These buildings will be wood-framed, single-storey structures, located to the north of the existing Ta Otha Community School.

The projects will include new HVAC systems that utilize air to air heat recovery and high efficient air handling systems including VAV boxes to allow for minimal energy use when the space is not occupied.  The building will also include a ceremonial room for smudging and other ceremonies and use a dedicated HVAC system to ensure good air changes throughout.
