The M’akola Housing Society provides safe, affordable and appropriate homes primarily for Indigenous people and families.

Through community partnerships and funders M’akola is able to provide subsidized housing, affordable rentals and assisted living units throughout most of British Columbia. This project is a 5-storey building with 28 Units made up of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units.

HVAC Systems included low ambient heating heat pump units that also provide air conditioning. Back up heat was provided via electric heaters.  Ventilation in each suite was provided by energy recovery ventilators (ERV).
