This exciting project involved a large expansion and conversion of the existing Emergency department to accommodate additional exam rooms, trauma rooms and administration areas. As part of the work modifications to the existing medical gas systems and plumbing were required to support the spaces.

A major part of this project involved the addition of a new energy recovery air handling unit to meet the increased air change rates and filtration levels required. The existing Building Management System (BMS) was expanded to include the ability to monitor air change rates and pressurization requirements throughout.
