Phase 1 of the Peter Lougheed Centre Emergency Unit Expansion included:

• check-in/ triage
• Resuscitation (total of 4 spaces)
• Short-stay mental health (total of 3 beds)
• 30 new assessment/ treatment beds
• Main area

As part of this project and to meet the requirements of the CSA, new N+1 air handling unit systems was designed.
