The renewal and expansion of the Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre has been designed to enhance the facility’s role as a regional hub for heritage, education, and tourism while supporting its long-term vision for growth and community engagement. The project includes plans for expanded exhibit and presentation spaces, improved accessibility, a new atrium and visitor amenities, and enhanced interpretive experiences that will showcase the rich history and culture of the Rossland region. These improvements form part of a broader initiative to transform the museum into a modern, year-round destination for residents and visitors.

Reinbold Engineering Group completed the mechanical engineering design for the renovation and expansion, developing building systems that support occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and the long-term sustainability of the facility while aligning with the museum’s vision for renewal and future growth.
