Chi has 10 years of professional experience, with a focus on building energy and emissions performance. He is an accredited BC Hydro Power Smart energy modeler, with extensive project experience with building performance energy and emission performance, and sustainability strategies. Chi has extensive experience in evaluating the performance of residential and commercial buildings as well as giving design input to reach sustainability goals. Furthermore, Chi has worked on project ranging across North America, Australia, and Europe; with a keen understanding of different requirements and approaches to building and emissions performance across regions.

Chi’s extensive project experience with many energy performance standards and has experience with most current energy modeling software on the market. As a building performance engineer, Chi is able to guide and evaluate new building designs as well as evaluate existing building performance. Leveraging his experience with Passive House as well his mechanical design background, Chi is able to evaluate both passive and active energy conservation measures.
